The project included a Trail Seminar for staff, trail reroutes , design and implementation of a trail marking scheme, and Google Earth interactive display for promotional purposes..

Seventy acre Community Park.The map is a high resolution(1 ft.) color aerial photo. Actual size 14" X 18" for trailhead kiosk. In addition to map production, project included:GPS and map existing trail, design connectors and marking scheme, add segment distances.

High resolution(1 ft.) color aerial photo w/shaded relief . Produced   30" X 40" map for trailhead kiosk and park office. Produced 8 1/2 " X 11" waterproof map for sale to park users. Trails GPS'd , points of interest noted, distance segments identified. Replaced innacurate b/w paper map.

Interactive map of the Red Wing Trail  at the Cincinnati Nature Center. Trail track log is combined with Digital photos to show  members or users what they will see on the trail. Using Google Earth allows full 3D flyovers for an even more realistic view.

Trail profiles can help explain the type of experience a user will have. The trail above is the Day Hike trail at Shawnee State Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. The trail is 7 1/2 miles long. Segment C-D is the hardest part of the hike. Conditions such as weather and skill level of the user would contribute to how this hike was planned.
